Regional expertise
My studies and work have granted me regional expertise on three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa.
Currently I reside in Chiang Mai, Thailand, which gives me quick and easy access to both South and South-East Asia. Due to the budget airlines operating from Thailand to most parts of Asia, I am able to be particularly cost-effective.
In Europe I have lived in my home country, Finland, studied in Spain and studied and worked in Germany. I am fluent in Finnish, English and German and functional in Swedish and Spanish.
In Asia, I have long-term work experience from India and Vietnam. I am currently working both in Nepal and Thailand and am studying Nepali.
In Africa, I have carried out a short-term consultancy in Kenya.
My particular interest in learning about new cultures and societies led me to visit many countries in Asia, Africa, North America and Europe.
